| It's embarrassing, really, that I've only managed to last a little over three months. But I'm just not cut out to be a personality fragment. I don't write often enough to post only fics, I don't read enough to rec often, and I never meta. So really, it's kind of pointless to keep a fandom-only journal.
So, I'm coming out of the closet. I'm very active in the Harry Potter fandom and have been for two years. My name there is Aldalindil, and my LJ name was recently changed to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.2) tartanshell. That's where I post most often, and that's where I talk a little more about my real life.
When I got into the X-Men fandom and started reading fic, I thought I might like to have a separate LJ to post about this fandom. To make a fresh start as a writer, judged on my X-Men fic and not by whether or not people have read or liked my Harry Potter stuff.
But...my real life keeps me too busy to keep two journals. I'm neglecting this one, and I don't want to. I really like my friends that I've made in this fandom!
And so what I'm going to do is friend everyone I have friended here over on my other journal, and I'd very much appreciate it if you would friend me back. I'm not leaving the X-Men fandom, and I'm not going to quit writing in it. I just want to be able to post everything to one journal. :) (After this post, this journal is going inactive except for moderating ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=92.2) oldfriends; feel free to remove emeraldblue from your friendslists, and I'll remove all of you from mine so I won't spam up your friend-of lists.)

| The other night penknife and I were talking about possible titles for her amazing new fic, "Fear the Rest". (And if you haven't read and reviewed it yet, you really should.)
Problem was, for some strange reason, I could only come up with Dr. Seuss parody titles. "Jean, Angst, and Spam" was one of them, and then the parody bunny bit last night and demanded that I write this. Who am I to argue?

| So, I went to bed at 10:30 last night (what's wrong with me?) after spending two hours at my parents' house, having a Will & Grace marathon with my mother.
I think she ships Will/Jack, which totally cracks me up. And she's fast becoming a Karen fan. *giggle* The great thing about TV seasons on DVD is that I can finally show my parents the programs I like. (They haven't had TV for over ten years, but I got hooked on a few shows in college and grad school.)
Now, the question is...should I try to find some W&G fanfic for my mom? Maybe I should just get her to watch X-Men again and see what she thinks about C/E.
Anyway, after going to bed so early, I woke up at 7:30 this morning and made some lovely French vanilla coffee (the Folger's flavored stuff is wonderful). And now it's snowing outside, I don't have much RL stuff to do, and so I can spend most of the day beta reading this fabulous fic on my hard drive. *happy sigh*
